James and Ken, I just wanted to say thank for the hunting at Anderson Creek Hunting Preserve. My sons really enjoyed it (as this is their first time hunting upland game birds). I spoke with Ken about a number of things, and I did not realize you had the shooting range among other things. I would like to attend one of your upcoming tower hunts with my sons and am interested in the possibility of hunting coyotes that Ken mentioned to me. None the less, I am glad that we tried it out, and look forward to doing some hunts and such again. Thank you, Shane
Great hunt. Thanks!
James and Ken, Great hunt at Anderson Creek Hunting Preserve, NC! We cooked the quail that night. Thanks again, Landon
Dear James On behalf of our group, a big thank you to our guide , Ken Adams, for a fun New Years Day of bird hunting! Great coach and teacher. We thoroughly enjoyed the dogs and the terrain of the preserve. It was a memorable experience. We cannot wait to return to Anderson Creek Hunting Preserve. Dan Storer Cleveland, Ohio
James, Thanks to you and Ken at Anderson Creek Hunting Preserve, NC for a great morning hunt. I brought my son, a friend and his boys and we had a great time. It was wonderful for the boys to take what they have been learning to get some real experience. Thank you and we will see you again.
James (Anderson Creek Hunting Preserve, North Carolina), Thanks for another great hunt! The birds and dogs were great and we always enjoy going out with Ken. Thanks again!
Hi James and Ken, Here is a picture of the Brittany pup (Scout) that I got from you guys. He is doing great and has some awesome instincts! He loves to point at everything and has flushed out a few birds from inside the woods. So far I have been focusing mostly on just getting him to “come” when called, which can be challenging if he is on a scent. He seems to get so focused on the scent he ignores the command. Let me know if you guys have any tips or other commands I can work with him on to get him ready for birds! Thanks, (Another Brittany … Continue reading
I want to thank you for the opportunity to hunt at Anderson Creek. My daughter Rachel and I had a great time. Being that it was her first time hunting, I wanted her to have a more controlled atmosphere and the guarantee that she would actually see some birds. Our guide Troy and his dog Chuck put us on the birds which allowed us to come away with nine quail and a rooster pheasant. The hunt was part of Rachel’s birthday present and she couldn’t have been happier with the outcome. While driving home, she asked, “when can we go back?” Again thanks for a great time and a memory … Continue reading
Attached are few photos we had from our hunt on Christmas eve. We had a blast and my brother went back to Texas telling everyone about it! I will stop by soon to talk ducks. Hope all is well!
