James (Anderson Creek Hunting Preserve, North Carolina), Thanks for another great hunt! The birds and dogs were great and we always enjoy going out with Ken. Thanks again!
Hi James and Ken, Here is a picture of the Brittany pup (Scout) that I got from you guys. He is doing great and has some awesome instincts! He loves to point at everything and has flushed out a few birds from inside the woods. So far I have been focusing mostly on just getting him to “come” when called, which can be challenging if he is on a scent. He seems to get so focused on the scent he ignores the command. Let me know if you guys have any tips or other commands I can work with him on to get him ready for birds! Thanks, (Another Brittany … Continue reading
I want to thank you for the opportunity to hunt at Anderson Creek. My daughter Rachel and I had a great time. Being that it was her first time hunting, I wanted her to have a more controlled atmosphere and the guarantee that she would actually see some birds. Our guide Troy and his dog Chuck put us on the birds which allowed us to come away with nine quail and a rooster pheasant. The hunt was part of Rachel’s birthday present and she couldn’t have been happier with the outcome. While driving home, she asked, “when can we go back?” Again thanks for a great time and a memory … Continue reading
Attached are few photos we had from our hunt on Christmas eve. We had a blast and my brother went back to Texas telling everyone about it! I will stop by soon to talk ducks. Hope all is well!
James, I would like to thank you very much for the hunting experience me and my father has on 12-27-13. We shot a lot of shells and got a few birds. I really enjoyed our two guides Robert and Matt, and they did great work with the dogs. My father and I are looking forward to the next trip we can make out there. Thanks again! God bless.
I had a great experience hunting at Anderson Creek! I hunted quail and pheasants and it was a very challenging hunt! My guide, Howard, was very professional, and he even took all of my birds cleaned them and packed them on ice bags for the ride home! The price of the hunt was very reasonable which is a must for me! The pointer dogs that were used also did a outstanding job finding the birds! I would have to say I give Anderson Creek 5 stars for the hunt and their service! Thank You Anderson Creek for a great hunt! I plan on going back as many times as I … Continue reading
Thank y’all so much for everything. Me and my dad had a great time and will definitely be coming back! (PS this was Howard and Scouts first guided hunt) Thanks again,
Hi James, Here are a couple of photos from Saturday (011213). Ellie and I had a good time, although if you need any new holes in the side of your barn, I could not hit it with my shooting.
Jim, My father-in-law and I had a great time on your preserve this morning. Ken Adams was our guide and he was phenomenal. We shot a total of 23 birds in less than 3 hours; 11 pheasant, 4 Chukar, and 8 Quail. Ken brought five dogs and they were all over it! Your fields are well maintained and Ken did a great job getting us some quality trigger time.
